There is a growing demand for satin-finished plating to be used in car interior parts. Taiyo’s original technology allows the satin gloss level to be adjusted continuously to add design flexibility. Minute designs such as hair line and spinning are also available.

It improves the corrosion and fingerprint resistance of Black Chrome-Ⅲ, Copper and Bronze plating. It also gives very high abrasion and chemical resistance compared to conventional coating. Despite the coating - the original feeling and vivid color of metals prevails. By adding the colorant in to the coating - new and unique color aspects can be achieved, not possible by regular metal color only. Silica-based coating opens new possibilities for plastic plating designs.
